About PropertyPriceData

PropertyPriceData presents official house price figures for 42 local authority areas and 23 postcode districts in England and Wales. Every price, change and sales count on the site comes from HM Land Registry open data: the UK House Price Index for average prices and annual change, and Price Paid Data for sales counts, medians and individual sales.

The data is refreshed from HM Land Registry every day. HM Land Registry only covers England and Wales, so Scotland and Northern Ireland are not included. Read more on the data sources page. Prices are in pounds sterling.
